You should hear some of the more embarrasing ones, like the seven year old from a single parent family that told his mum all she had to do to get him a dad was to 'sex' someone or the four year old who on seeing his mum pick up a box of Tampax remarked to the queue of a busy Tesco's and with great disgust, 'she was STILL leaking' xxxxxxxx |

And forgot my all time fav,
when my little sister was four we were all asked whether we had heard Father Christmas the night before, lying through our teeth we all said yes but Laura, not to be outdone had to add, that she had heard Father Christmas AND smelt the Reindeer, proving what I have always known, she was the fibber in the family (she hates it when we remind her) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

I don't have kids but I know they easily come out with stuff like that! Sure these quotes would have been cherry-picked, but I could see kids coming out with responses like those. _________________

My little brother comes out with that all the time.
Every week he wants to be something new when he grows up.
So far the best have been: A ballerina (we pointed out he'd have to be a ballet dancer, as ballerinas are girls), a robot, a traindriver, Harry Potter, a hairdresser, Harry Potter, a game maker... the list could go on for ever.
He likes Harry Potter if you didn't already guess.
It gets me how smart they both are, I can't remember what it was about, but I accidently swore in front of my younger sister.
She said "That's ok, I already know what it means..."
Good Grief. |
