What's with people placing their ads with text writing, looks very childish to me, I wouldn't reply to one,I know I'm a miserable sod but it really gets on my tits.

Text talk is pointless and annoying, 99% of phones have predictive texting now so even the excuse of not being able to spell doesn't count now, as for using it in the Free Adverts and even on this forum....yep very frustrating.

maybe I'm just getting old Embarassed

All text speak annoys me as much as this "gangsta" speak which seems to be everywhere. If I see an ad written in text I tend to think of the seller as some juvenile oyk and this makes me think if they can't be bothered to type out an ad properly then what is their animal husbandry like? This is probably unfair and unjust but its the way I am. I have just seen a posting on Ebay for a "camilain" tank how long would it have taken to look up how to spell Chameleon, I can't help but wonder if they wanted info and they typed camilain into google and got nothing , did they give up and the Cham suffer some way? I wonder if its sheer laziness- then again surely it takes more brain power to type in text than it does legible english!Whatever the reason it annoys the hell out of me.
love Jan
