How old should a crestie be before it is sold? I don't want one that's half grown but at the same time I know very young may not be best.
Thanks

there are no real rules, babies a week old would be fine for someone with experiance. If it's your first crested gecko I would suggest you get one that's a min of 2 months old (8cm min). Remember they can live upwards of 15 years, so even buying young adults would give you many years of fun with them.

I always wait until they are at least 8 weeks old before I advertise them for sale. It's just for my own piece of mind really. In that time I'm confident they are feeding and shedding well. Very Happy

Great, thanks for that. I know they live for years but it's nice to get them before they're too big so you can watch them grow up, etc.
