just out of interest i was looking into cane toads, after reading all the care sheets i could find they say how large they are, then it says to provide water just enough to cover them at rest but what is that 2 inch 4inch, with average toads and frogs its quite easy to guess but these things are huuuuuuuuge.

The water dish in with my big female is about 2.5-3" deep. This is just enough for her to soak in when at rest.

They do make great pets. My female is very tame I use her for school talks so she gets a fair bit of handling and now no longer feels the need to squirt me every time I pick her up and only ever defecates in her water dish. During the summer she gets to roam around the garden while I'm outside working, if it weren’t for the cat I'd let her roam free in the house a bit more.
She also feeds on inanimate food from a dish so doesn't cost much to feed.

Pete Parrot has a lovely large Cane Toad. I have seen it in person, awesome it is!

Not heard of many captive bred ones available though.

With so many 'pest' Toads in the world that can feed our trade without damage to their natural populations why would anyone want to purposely produce more?
CB & CF toads have been available, I think the last lot of CF I saw was 2 years ago. I was offered CB tadpoles earlier this year from Europe.

Probably out of interest in actually breeding them as opposed to a commercial venture Andrew Rolling Eyes

Some pests I quite like as it goes.
