I am a tad in shock; went to tend to the incubators today opened the lid on the one with the mellors eggs in, lo and behold loads of baby mellors!

They are big for babies and have a soft velvety feel to them they look gorgeous!

Must admit after all I have heard about how hard they are to get to breed, let alone have a good hatching and incubation, I kind of inwardly felt they would not hatch at all. So was not expecting any good from them.

The eggs were laid on the 27/06/06, so a relatively short incubation time!

Will do some pics when I am calm. Laughing
