Because I'm in such a good mood due to my pygmy hatchling, I'll tell you what happened to me last night. Right, First of I am a total, raging, un curable anacra-phobic spiders just freak me out big time.Right I woke up at 2am desperate to go the loo- number 1 mind you!!!. Anyway I spottted a large hairy spider on the ceiling right above the loo, so obviously backed out of the room and went down to the lower bathroom, as soon as I opened the door I saw IT- it was huge, black, hairy all gnashing teeth and flexing of muscles a real Gargantula. This caused me a severe problem, a bursting bladder plus I am under holy promise NOT to wake up the Other Half just to deal with a "creepy crawly". It did occur to me to chuck a coat over my naked bod and walk the 10 minute walk to my daughters house, but it was by this time gone 2 and my bladder was screaming- so I err, ermmm had to make alternative lavatorial plans which I dont need to go into but lets say- thank god I have a secluded part of the garden, a good torch and at least I know why the Lupins will never be the same!!!

I can sympathise whole heartedly, me and spiders just don't go either, i often have to get someone else to deal with them.
Anything with 8 legs and fur just aint normal _________________ TFA

I am also convinced that Cumbrian spiders are the biggest, meanest s.o.b.'s in the country too. We had one in the kitchen that looked to me the size of a small car. and when brave and fearless O.H. caught it in a glass it barely fitted in the bottom of it., I do wish he wouldnt oh so carefully trap them- making sure he dont damage their "little" legs, and release them into the garden because these foul things arent stupid its cold out there, so they promptly come back in again.Plus theres probably more food roaming about in this house than there is in my garden. If I'm feeling ever so brave I will suck one up the Dyson then leave it for a few minutes untill I can see what looks like a spider smoothie but most of the time like you its a case of just abandonning ship.
