I dont have a clue how this happened, but I just checked on my cresteds and it appears the males testicles are having out of his rear entrance.

I know a visit to the vets is required but does anyone have any idea how this could possibly happen???

It seems he must of had a prolapse whilst mating with one of my females. typical. Just taking him to the vets now, I did bathe him lightly in slight suger water but no luck Sad

Hi,
You are probably at the vets now, let us know how he got on and what the vet said?
Good Luck.

Out of interest, I have disturbed one of my males 'in action' and he didn't seem to be able to withdraw his hemipenes back inside. I kept an eye on him for an hour or so and found that he had sorted himself out fine. I wasn't worried as I could see that no substrate or debris was attached to him so I was pretty confident he would be ok.

Well I haven't gone yet, I got some advice from the first first

He is currently in a sick tank, with a thin layer of warm suger saturated water. Ive been told its not uncommon for this to hapen with cresteds during intercourse. So, unhappy as he looks to be in there on his own ill leave him there for a good few hours and see if he retracts them.

If he doesn't, ill take him to the vets. I just dont want them to be amputated as he is my only male and I cant afford another for breeding at the moment.

Poor lad!
