Thought I'd share a few images or Adders I've been photographing today.

It the first chance I've had to use the new camera and flash set up.

All images taken on nikon D200, nikon 105mm macro lens and new Macro speedlight RC1.

Males

Female

Hope you enjoy them as enjoyed taking them!!!!

No its the original 105mm..........I'll stick with that and a bean bag then I dont need the VR.

I do have a 18-200VR which I used a couple of times and its a real usefull bit of kit.

I am waiting to collect a couple of young Chondro's and will be playing with the camera gear a lot.

I also hope to pick up some new stuff in Hamm.

Anyone who likes my photography may get a chance to see it as I'm doing a few IHS lecture around the Uk this year. Rolling Eyes

Yeah they reckon the vr is all but useless at 1:1 anyway..lol nearly got it myself the other week but didn't in the end.Have heard good things about the 18-200 as nice walkabout lens,if you can get hold of them. Are they being stocked regular yet?

No they are still like rocking horse S**t!!!

I had mine on order from AJ Purdy for 6 months!!

By the time they phoned up and asked for payment I'd forgotten I'd even put a deposit on one.

I'm trying to get used to it before going to Arizona on a Rattler holiday. Thought this time I would keep the kit to the bare minimum of ix Macro lens + the 18-200 and the D200 and a bucket full of memory cards.

Got my own personal guide to take me to all those nice areas where Johnny tourist doesn't go and upset the wildlife.

Should be fun!!!!!

Bus-mans holiday I think?
