Hi

Hi,

I've had my new leachie for about a month now. Until now I've left 'him' alone to settle in. Tonight I had a good look at his vent area to see if he can be sexed yet. He's approximately 8 months old and he's an Island E henkeli.

As yet there is no evidence of a bulge but I'm sure I can see preanal pores.

I'm about 90% sure it's a male but would really appreciate your thoughts.

I'd say male with my untrained eye i can see them pretty clearly on that picture on they look pretty prominent.not just dimples that females get ..

Thanks for the reply. That's what I'm thinking too. They do seem very definite 'doughnut' shaped pores.
