Might be a tad too warm for him. Try and put him somewhere cooler.
This weather is too hot for most amphibians. Wink

forced feed the most extreme for the firt's time. but..u will be stressed if the frogie wont eat anything.. try to forced once, will saved your frogie life... use small cricket or medium wax worm, but remember yu must kill the food yet, before try to forced...cheers Embarassed

Yes I would go down the root of a cooler area first. Then try some nice juicy livefood. Or even a suitably sized pinkie. Good luck, keep us updated.

I know you would have this already, but an appropriately sized water bowl, mine sit in theirs when they get a bit hot.

Impaction?

Good luck, keep us updated.

Force feeding is always a last resort and should not be atempted unless the frog continues to refuse food and looses significant body weight.

How big is the frog and how long has it been since it last ate?

A lot further down the line maybe yes. I have moved all my dart frogs , which all come from various parts of South America where it gets pretty hot, to the cupboard under the stairs in small propogators.

It is brick built and my snake food freezer is in there too. If it gets any hotter i just open the freezer door. This is only temporary of course but it is saving lives in this heat.

Air conditioning is on the agenda for next year for me for certain.
