Spent most of last night watching my 8 young fire bellied toads ( thanks rick Wink ). They are fasinating little animals I think i may be adding to my collection in the future. What do you guy's recommend as my next species. I would like to here your ideas. Very Happy

FBT`s are fantastic captives. Active colourful and interesting. You will enjoy them. Wink

You`re best bet is just to enjoy them for a while, and see what takes you`re eye and what meets what you`re looking for at your own pace . There is so much to choose from.

I think you should go for some yellow bellied toads, Bombina Variegata.

Oddly enough I have some CB tadpoles on the go wowoowwhahahahahahahh Laughing Wink

How big are they now Vicki? Have the colours started from the toe pads yet? Glad your enjoyng them.

I'll get some pics taken so you can see them. They're really cute.

Some are quite big but still brown but there's one that's nearly all green. When do you thinks the best time to start introducing other things into the tank?

would LOVE TO SEE HOW THEY ARE DOING PLEASE. Only introduce others when of same size or could be frog eat frog.
