Well, i liked my little ol beat up argus i went and got another pair, making three total! Maybe in a year or two i will have some babie argus! I soon, hope to get some good eggs from my V.albigularis, my male is small, and I'm getting another 1.2 albigularis. anywho back on topic panoptes, i find them to be very interesting captives, not very good for handling!! haha, the other day i was chased by a 4.5 foot male, had no fear of me. Argus are intelligent, hyperactive, unhandleable varanids, they will stand up to you in no fear, and are FAST, faster than you can react. Well enough talk, lets get to some pictures!
Well 1st some cage shots i changed it some, and added a extra 100lbs of dirt/peat moss.

And here is the smaller of the two.
Here’s the larger of the two.
Them together.
I tryed to get all 3 of them in one shot, but mine was in a chamber he made way down so i didn’t get him, and i have not see him out yet.
Enjoy,
Chad |

I do not think that is one of yours but I am not 100% sure as it was some time ago. These might be yours. |
