Hi
The shop I get my food from is closing down, so wondering about ordering on line rather than driving further from home. Who is recommended, who is not. Honeybrook farm looks good?
All ideas received with thanks

honey brook are great for getting stuff fresh and still frozen now the suns turned up. the only down side is if you live north of manchester (lancs side of the pennines) or in scotland as there frozen van only gets up once a month.
so just remember to plan ahead. |

I use and I know a lot of others do, its camzoo
www.camzoo.co.uk
I am lucky as they are only 11 miles from me so I collect, but I know someone from the Wirral who ordered and another from Rotherham and both said that it turned up totally solid frozen!
Might be worth a look, for a recommendation ask JohnC, Wendy Stevens, Tanya Stevens on livefoods as to what they think of the food! _________________ 1.0 striped supersalmon DEAD

Camzoo don't seem to offer much in the way of food options and those rabbit prices are high to say the least, or atleast i thought so until i read the price from...
Frozendirect.com, someone needs to have a quiet word with these people. I mean, please, £7 for a rabbit is NOT market price - but hey, it's as they give you a 40% discount so you ONLY pay £4.18 (twice what i pay from honeybrook!!) That said they are a touch better when it comes to options for feeding but still they are lacking.
I use honeybrook. I know with them that when i order my food will be still frozen when it arrives (i usually help him get it off the freezer truck) and i can either pay when i order using a CC, i can pay cash on the door when he delivers (which only costs a few quid) or if i'm having a tight month i can pay next time (not sure if new customers can do this ). Plus when i feel like providing a bit of variety i can order a multitude of different sized quail (which are great for feeding) or perhaps some turkey poults or i can just ask them what they have in and get what ever is about.
IMO Honeybrook is far and away the best supplier out there. The fact they deliver to europe as well as the UK gives testament to the quality, how often do we export anything these days? It's usually the other way around!! I have used them for years and will continue to use them in the forseeable future. I can't praise these guys enough!! _________________ TFA
