Hi All,
Just wondering if people could give me a bit of info on how they breed cresties etc.
I am expecting 1st set of eggs soon.
What do people use as an egg box?? (I have a small plastic container with moss at the mo)
What do you transfer the eggs into and what heat do you keep them at, whats the best heat source??
How often do you feed the hatch-lings??
Any other info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Small tub with hole in lid, filled with damp peat.

Tub filled with vermiculite or perlite, kept at room temp (72f - 82f)
How often do you feed the hatch-lings??
Daily with small crickets and twice weekly with Crested Gecko Diet
Any other info would be appreciated.
I keep the babies quite humid, although it does dry each day ready for the next spray.
Good luck. _________________

I tend to keep rhaco eggs dryer than most eggs, a good method is use damp vermiculite 2" deep then 1" of dry perlite on top, rest the eggs on this.
This way you don't need to worry about having the vermiculite too damp...as it's not in contact with the eggs. _________________

Cool
I have learned something new today, thanks Scott
So you just have your eggs Room Temperature and not in an Incubator?
