I came home tonight to find my female Storri, badly injured presumebly from the male as he's been very rough with her recently. She has cuts on her head, her left eyes closed up and three toes on her left foot have been badly sethered.I had'nt separated them before as I thought this was normall male Storri aggression.I'm reluctently thinking of selling my male and getting a smaller sub-adult male to pair with her as I think the male I've got is to big and powerful and I don't I think I want to keep them together gain as a pair. What do you guys think |

Sorry to hear that Thomas.
Definately split them up to give her good time to recover, perhaps once recovered just introduce the male for short periods (whilst you are observing).
It seems very much a storri thing, so swapping for a smaller male might help for a short period but not long term. _________________
