Couldn`t agree more. Mine are also in trays but I keep them in 2" of bran. I think so long as the substrate is a cereal of some sort... You`re O.K. _________________ Dave Messer @ Insectsunlimited.

John,
You know me, I do things differently.
I feed mine a high vit cereal 'paste' almost like a porridge mix. NO VEG, in fact if I offer veg they won't eat it unless they have nothing else. _________________
