Hi All,
I am just about to move properties and i plan to build a new vivarium before i move in for my exanthematicus, he/she is currently 28" so this will be my third and final vivarium build for the little one as he/she is growing very well.
I'm looking for advice from anyone who keeps exanthematicus or similar size species or other varanus with similar needs, i am planning to build a 8foot wide x 3foot deep with sealed and well treated plywood & 14" of a good substrate, can anyone recommend what i should put into this, i am planning on keeping it basic. e.g 2 hides, water bowl and a few large granite rocks for variation.
Anyone else be able to give me ideas of other stuff i can add into this vivarium to keep my monitor interested?
Thanks for your help guys _________________ Curently Keeping:

Good thick rope strung across the viv can be fun! My iguana, although she's big and chubby, likes to shin along her rope and dive bomb into her water tray. Haven't put any rope into my monitor viv yet. _________________
