Stunning place, great pics. I just loved that part of the US, one of my favorite holidays. There are so many beautiful places to visit there.
And now's the time to go with the dollar being so low Laughing

Thanks Ron - stunning & a little overwhelming at times for sure - pics just don't do it justice! This trip was supposed to be once in a lifetime (before I get too old Rolling Eyes Smile ) - but now I just can't wait to do go back. Hoping to do Vermillion Cliffs (The Wave), Yosemite & some of the Hopi places next year.

Exchange rate definitely helped - it was quite funny to hear all these Americans moan about their petrol prices and watch them nearly faint when I told them how much we pay in the UK Laughing Laughing

When were you there, which places did you visit?

Many years ago Laughing About 12 I think. At the time I was a grad student staying in Santa Barbara for 3 months. Then my GF, now my wife, came over and we rented a car. We visited San Diego, Joshua Tree NP, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Yosemite, Zion, Bryce, Vegas, San Francisco, some parks with those huge redwoods. That's what I remember. Really cool, but we still missed out on some things. Next time we go there, we'll take our kids, can't wait to go there again.
