Recessive ratios:

Single het x single het = 1:3
1/4: Single recessive morph
3/4: Visual normal

Double het x double het = 1:3:3:9
1/16: Souble recessive morph
3/16: Single recessive morph 1
3/16: Single recessive morph 2
9/16: Visual normal

Triple het x triple het = 1:3:3:3:9:9:9:27
1/64: Triple recessive morph
3/64: of each of the three possible double recessive morphs
9/64: of each of the three possible single recessive morphs
27/64: Visual normal

Quad het x quad het = 1:3:3:3:3:9:9:9:9:9:27:27:27:27:81
1/256: Quad recessive morph
3/256: of each triple recessive morph
9/256: of each double recessive morph

st to bring this threead back up because it could be useful for some!

What would happen if you were to breed a het albino to a het piebald?

Would you get a ratio something like 50% normals 20% het albino 20% het piebald an 10% double het?

Think you would get...

25% normal
25% het albino
25% het pied
25% double het

BUT obviously you wont know which is which so they are all 50% het for albino and pied i think.
