an update of the one we thought was female, im still not sure, but surely a female wouldnt colour up like this! what do you guys think?

I'm no expert but for the size I would have thought it would have had more colour when that fired up. No real noticeable bulge at the base of the tail. I'm sure someone will soon be along to confirm for sure.
Stunnin lookin panther if it is a girl!

i would be happy either way, its the not knowing that bugs me! im thinking its a late developing male, and we are so used to seeing nose be, ambanja, ambilobe and all the common morphs which do develop colours quickly, its not every day that an orange panther is documented and perhaps it takes longer, like ankaramy for instance, i get so impatient with my panthers lol!

I think its a boy, it can take upto 18 months for true colours to come through, Lee will no better than anybody though Very Happy

the breeder has offered me a mitsio if im not happy that this is male, im starting to get mitsio fever again!!! getting a sirama soon aswell, will have colourful chams one day!!!

From the first pics it looks female but I would now say male.
Slight bulge by the base of the tail.
Youngsters can be very hard to sex.
You have done a great job rearing him.

thanks, i have had so many baby panthers in the last year it has become a doddle! all i want know is a stunning collection of adult panthers!
