Finally !!! small female ( 450 gram ) wild type has took a rat this afternoon . Her last was way back in November. Hopin its sign that the other thre will break fast as well ( all female ( ( grrr)) 2CF's and a fussy one ! )

absolutely nothing different !!! well other than the fact that the prey items had been in room bit longer than normally defrosting .

heated head as usual to fahrenhiet(sp) ''burny handies off'' ( ok it was maybe not that hot ) enuff to evoke heat pit detection .

big clue for me was she was crusing the tub at the open end ( where I see her ) she LOOKED interested so was chuffed when she STRUCK !!!

this one gave me problems to start when I oriinally got her , she was a non feeder , small , very small for her age , eventualy got her to take a gerbil to kick start the feeding , then over to rats .

some snakes just seem to only want to take half a dozen meals a year , or so it seems !

that's good news, gives me hope for the last of my royals that is still refusing any food as of 2nd of januari!!

only 1 out of 5 fed and tht was the new boy

ahm no holding my breathe with the one that took ....she is VERY sporadic at feeding sadly , just one of those ficky ones

about to TRY the other three ( 2 CF's and a shy one , all female )

hopefully they will all take , one is at 1020 g others are 1390g an 1400g , fingers crossed .
