Does anybody know whats happening with the Nirah project, as far as i know they have all the planning permission but have heard very little about it, did have a look on google earth to see if construction had started.
For those whe havent heard of it do a google on it, its going to have the largest aquarium in the world there and be similar to the eden project but three times the size and they will be keeping and breeding reptiles there too and its all going to be in Bedforshire, they say it will be the largest tourist attraction in the UK but you hardly hear about it. The first i heard of it was an article in Reptile care magazine back in 2005! _________________ www.Reptilebreeder.co.uk

Just did a 'search' for it and many of the sites found are very much anti the project. There is a proposed research lab as part of the project which will instantly put peoples backs up. Shame as it could - if done properly - be brilliant. Some of the walk-through aquariums in the US are awesome. |
