|
|
Hi all
having recently added a BRB to our slowly growing snake collection LOL (we have two young corns), I have noticed that the brb's weight has dropped by 2 grams since feeding last week. She was 71 grams the week before and now weighs 69. She is 8 months old and just over 2 ft. She is fit, healthy and active.
Do snake weights fluctuate normally like this?

Can't say anything about BRB but I know my gartersnake have quite steady weights.
If she looks and acts normal I wouldn't worry much. _________________ *steps are the only obstacle on the ladder to succes...*

When I weigh mine it's always within a day or two of feeding so I know the last meal has cleared them (except for Boids) and it's just the snake's body weight that I'm getting.
