Thanks for the comment Smile

Yea he's a big boy, just about two yrs old. He used to power down the food like they all do when they're younger but then he went into brumation and didn't want to eat anything, even after he came out of it he didn't want to eat anything I offered him either. So I started giving him chicken and some fruit baby food to get him eating something. As a result of spoiling the lazy sod refuses to chase down anything so he won't eat crickets anymore Rolling Eyes So I have to hand feed him worms and fuzzy mice and even his veggies sometimes. But he only eats every second day and only a few prey items, which I suppose is the very long answer to your question (sorry)

Hi again,

Adult beardies should really have 75% veg and only 25% feeders as a diet. Try any of the following - small amounts each day:
all types of green stuff - the darker the better - kale, green beans, peas (defrosted but NOT cooked), brocolli-uncooked, greens, spinich (spelling!, the stuff popeye eats!), cucumber, watercress- then also use orange things like carrots and orange pepper.
AVOID any lettuce type - these are toxic to Beardies.
You can try hand feeding them - literally put them in his mouth. Some people have succes by putting some worms in with the veg and the beardie eats both then.
Feeding mroe veg will help slim them off a little as well as if too big can put pressure on organs and cause diseases such as pancreatitis.
Im sure this is a female by the way - the head is so feminine! lol does he have hemipenile bulges?

I'm guessing that human part is an foot/heal.

I like that little game. Go-on post another picture we can guess at.

And stop posting pictures of pets as this looks like another one I want to get. This forum is going to ruin my living room.

Your Beadie just looks great. And I love watching these eat. But then I like watching all these reptile eat.

lmao Jo - they are brilliant lizards to keep, each with a different personality! Having bred over 500 I know!
I love the various morphs now as well - such a variety!

He get fresh "salad" every morning. Everything you've listed I give him all the time. He goes through phases where he'll eat a lot of it every day then he won't touch it for a while. I hand feed him bits of it until he literally flicks it back at me because he doesn't want anymore, lol. I know he looks like a fatty but he's not overweight just big overall.

He's a boy, he's got the bulges and a nice row of pores Smile I don't know if you noticed in the pics but he also only has half his tail. I got him as a baby from the pet store like that because they weren't smart enough to feed a large group of babies enough food so they didn't eat each others limbs Sad Or for that matter not keep that many in a tank.

lol and yes Joe that's my heal.
