Hiya,

Was in the girls viv today doing routine checks etc and noticed one of the girls looks really swollen. She moves fine, is very alert, still able to climb and stick to glass and generally seems normal, but looks filled with air or something like a balloon... Now she is 18 months old...and used to live with a male up till about a month ago when I bought her, and I seperated her immediately as all the cresties I got were underweight. She has now started eating live food, fruit and cgd and has put on weight....but this looks too odd...

Any ideas?

Anna

Here are a few pics

I was thinking that myself, but with her being so small....was also hoping it wasn't... Do they swell up as much over the whole body when gravid?

you should be able to see the eggs if you turn her on her back.

Anything else unusual about her?

We tried to feel her belly as I managed to feel eggs in my other female...but not in this swollen one....which was weird.. She feels soft...like full of air or something. She seems absolutely fine other than that...
