Ok so im confused about a couple of things and was wondering if anyone could help me by answering them...!
In my eyes, a yellow belly looks like a normal. What can be made/achieved from this colour morph?
How is it possible for a royal python to go so long without food when many other snakes can go maybe a couple of months and then die?
Why is it that big time (or small time) breeders keep royal in BARE tubs (not small)?
Thats it for now...Im sure ill come up with more! |

well i saw 2 yb's a few weeks ago, and these WERE yb's. am waiting on eggs hatching. tbh they are the only yb's i have seen with yellow bellies.
royals metabolism slows right down, and they dont move much, so dont use much reserves, i had one go 8 months and hardly lose a gram of weight.
and dunno about the tub thing, most of mine are in tubs, but they have thier wee 'toys' in with them. and tbh, im not really a breeder. _________________

Yellowbelly can look normal"ish" but once you are familiar with them they are blindingly obvious.
Boids have slower metabolisms than colubrids.
Bare tubs with a water dish are much easier to clean in large numbers. |
