Noy enough for them mate. thats really small I wouldn't keep anything in it. how would you regulate temps and gradients i such a small enclosed space? _________________ Paul

I would admit defeat Jack!
A microwave oven is designed for reheating pies as precedence rather than allowing sufficient airflow, space and temperature gradient for an amphibian or reptile to prosper. The area that you describe is far too small for a temperature gradient to develop however small a heat mat that you would intend to use.
Now, if you were to use an old cheese grater instead, your ventilation options would be far greater!
