Last August (07) I had a few Hermans tortoises escape http://www.captivebred.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14771&highlight=hermans I was lucky enough to find most of them but was fairly sure 1 or 2 were still missing. Anyway yesterday in the first real bit of sunshine we've had this year my neighbour found another one Laughing It was in a field behind my garden Shocked

She looked in perfect health and was actually a little heavier than the ones that didn't escape. She has been out in the 'wild' for 8 months!!! Hibernated fine and finally resurfaced this week Laughing

Anyone else had a tortoise on the loose for so long?
