Hi and welcome to the forum, nice to see you over hear from the other one
I can't help with your actual question but it is an interesting thought especially given that yellow bellies have so much potential when crossed into other morphs _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

Thanks for the welcome, I currently have a Female Het Pied weighing in at 550g, she is simply stunning to look at (As far as Wildtypes go).
I had a good friend round last night looking at my collection and he says she is a guaranteed Yellow Belly, and having looked around at various pictures etc. I think he is right, so, now I am thinking of purchasing a Male Yellow Belly to hopefully prove her out by producing the Ivory! _________________ www.BloodBall.co.uk - Specialising in Blood & Short-Tailed Python Morphs and Locales, and Ball Python Morphs |

Guaranteed yellowbelly het pied!! Not until it's produced an ivory it aint. I'd think you'd be a very lucky guy if someone clued up enough to have a visual pied didn't know they'd bred it to a yellowbelly. Anything is possible of course. Post pics, belly and top. |

Sorry, guaranteed was such a bad word to use! My friend was "certain" it was a Yellow Belly. I'll get some pictures this afternoon. _________________ www.BloodBall.co.uk - Specialising in Blood & Short-Tailed Python Morphs and Locales, and Ball Python Morphs |

Cool i think wood is thinking on same lines as me if someone knows it's het pied then they bred it and would know if it was yellow belly or not as it'd have yellow belly parentage or ivory and again they'd most certainly know and most definitely charge for that too, chances are it's just normal het pied but if anythng else then it's the bargain of the year lol.

My sentiments exactly, the het Pieds I have seen have belly markings which, I suppose, could be confused for YB _________________ A lil bit of Madagascar

If you post some photos of the belly, we can tell you if its a YB or just a visual het Pied as both have very distinct belly markings.
As far as I know, no has produced a YB Pied yet ... but I'm wouldn't be surprised if we don't see them this season.
