Fine without CGD.
They grow ALLOT faster.
I have realised.
Mine have been on cgd all there lives more or less.
And about 2 months ago i put them on 95% crickets.
They are growing like weeds now.
They are around a year old and only 13ish grams.
Which IS small but they are very healthy.
IMO if I had fed them live food from the beggining they would be allot bigger.
And probs big enough to breed this year.
Hey ho will wait another year !
Sorry to blab on etc, Conker looks ace Karen. _________________ Regards, Paul.

yep of course
Locust is one of the few insects mine never wanted to eat, can't say I've tried the group with them now but certainly had no joy 3 years ago trying them. _________________

Mine are into mini meal worms in a big way, so I put dry CGD into the bottom of the food dish, the mealies eat it, and the cresties eat them like little monsters I'm trying to wean them back onto the CGD now with the occasional mealie.
Conker looks very chubby and happy, can't help but loving cresties they are just nuts when they get going _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

Gorgeous crestie karen, fab name too!
Mine like Scotts will not touch locusts how bizarre that yours loves them! Mine really only eat crickets and cockroaches they wont touch mealies or waxies either! All of my Rhacs are the same, quite fussy with livefood, the leachies who will only eat cockroaches and giant mealies, gargs and saras same as cresties and my chahouas will eat everything except locust - my chahouas LOVE waxworms! _________________ 20 years experience in reptile keeping.
