Hi everyone,
I am new to the site, and I am very excited as tomorow I am getting my first bearded dragon. I have a 4ft x 2ft x 2ft vivarium, I have had it set up for a few days to get the temperatures correct. Can anyone tell me what the best veggies to get are, I have got some brocoli and some other leafy veg, I will also be getting some crickets tomorow.Any other tips to keep my beardie healthy would also be welcomed.

we feed ours dark green leafy veg, chopped carrots, peas, butternut squash, sometimes a bit of fruit. As Lynne says, keep away from iceberg lettuce-it is all water and no nutrient.
They should be fed crickets daily when they are juveniles, and you can gradually increase the proportion of veg to livefood as they get older. Try and give them as much variety as possible.
Great tip i got from Scott-put the odd live bluebotttle in the the viv. Not particularly for nutrient but gives them fun catching them.
