Hi,
I was just wondering if anybody uses one of these with a 20W heat mat? The only reason i ask is i was looking at the manual for the dimming stats and they said minimum Wattage was 40W's but on the manual for the pulse stat is doesn't say minimum but just says up to 600W. |

It will be fine, pulse stats have no minimum.

They are really good, but just my luck I've just had one die on me, and I've only had it a month, luckily I manage to plug the extension on the 4 stack rack into the one on the 6 stack rack, which only has 2 snakies on it presently. I'll have to toddle off to the shop and get it swapped out this weekend Good excuse for a visit at least
Pulse Stats apparently are also cheaper to run than the dimming ones, wish I'd know that before bought 2 twin channels a couple of months ago _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

instead of making a new thread i thought I'd ask this weird question here. with thermostat probes is the whole big part on the end of the cable the sensor is it it just the little round bit on the very tip of the cable? iam guessing its the hole part at the end |

I would think that the sensor is probably the length of the large bit on the end.
pm peterf he will tell you _________________ My website isn't quite there yet, as I got bored half way through writing it.

What about using an on/off stat with a powersun? i know you can't use a dimmer stat. would it work or would it damage the bulb?
cheers. |

Tis the downside to the powersuns you cannot control them with a dimmer _________________ Check out my albino royal python website! |
