Hi everyone
I just thought I would give you all an update on how Vernon is doing and added a couple of photos as you were all so helpful when I was getting ready for his arrival..
He is now settled in nicely to his vivarium.
I have just a couple of quick questions if you don't mind:
We started off feeding him small brown crickets but have found that he doesn't like to take them from a cup, he prefers to hunt for them but they seem to fall to the bottom and hide under the plant pots. So we have tried locusts and he loves them.
Are locusts as good for him?
What is best to gut load locusts with?
How often should he shed? (he has once since in the 2 weeks we've had him)
How much should they drink? (I spray his viv 3-4 times a day but can't always hang around to check if hes drinking. i do see him have a couple of licks off a leaf a day).

he looks so cute! try a shallow plastic tub, like the ones the cricket come in, works for me. I always feed hoppers when the chams are big enough to eat them, i find them to be a lot easier to use as feeders.
