the guy you need to have a chat with is the forum administrator from chondroweb. nl ,his name is graham , its a dutch forum for gtp and etb fans mainly, but well worth a visit,graham is a real nice guy, but he does appreciate thanks for help given,just a p.m or e-mail is good manners.
dont be put off by the forum being dutch,the vast majority of threads are in english.

Hi Mark, wish I could remember where I saw the viv on a bath. What do you intend to keep in your new viv?

Hiya...
Yacht varnish works well for waterproofing. It is non toxic and quite thick so you only need one coat. Somewhere like B&Q or Homebase sells it for about a tenner for a smallish tin...

you can get marine ply Ive never used it but maybe worth a look into it. iam sure somebody else on here must have tried it. |

We've used marine ply, it's really nice, but still needs varnishing for it to be waterproof tho... |
