If you want to put the Pastel in as a back up, go ahead. Both Spider and Pastel produce either visible morphs or normals. A normal would be a normal and not a het anything, so why not ? As for whether or not she is gravid - sorry but not sure.

I agree nothing to lose, it's just the spider wasn't mine it was the previous owners of the girl and i have two other females on the way that my pastel is going to?
So hopefully i should see pastels this season.
I was always going to put my pastel to her but when i saw her wrapped round her bowl looking lumpy i thought maybe she was building from the spider?
Guess I'm just trying to be greedy!!
