I really wanted an albino Burmese but after looking at loads and loads of care sheets and asking advise of loads of people decided that at this present time a Burmese would grow too big for the amount of space I have available at present. Have decided though that when the kids have left home then one of their bedrooms will become a reptile room and at last I can have my Burmese!

People see these gorgeous snakes as babies and don't realise quite how big they grow until it's too late. Most I've seen for sale are around the 6-8 foot mark.

Confused Does seem they end up on the classifieds as soon as they hit that sort of mark..you see all these people with their cute little baby burms on the forums..I would love to know who still has them after 2-3 years...

i still think they should carry a licence to own same as dwa kind of thing that way every 12 yearold and his dog wouldnt be able to buy them gives me second thoughts with breeding aswell as its selling them to suitable people thats hard to do im currently selling some boas(making way for another burm) and same thing im kind of holding back from letting them go as i dont want them going to a 'poo' home and not cared for correctly Crying or Very sad
