noticed that lots of the snakes on here are in plastic tubs. Do people use special herp tubs, or is it ok to use standard plastic storage tubs (so long as air holes etc are made). I am planning on getting some royals and hopefully building up to a proper collection, so want to start with containers I can eventually build into a racking system, but that is probably a bit into the future. _________________ so many morphs, so little money

The majority of tubs in use are NOT made specifically for reptiles but fit the needs perfectly. So yes you can use any tub/plastic box etc so long as it fits the needs of the animal you plan to house in it. _________________

Just make sure that they can be secured properly.
