I would agree - and also broaden this concern to multimammates as well. While my royals get a mixture of rats and multis without issue, I have some baby corn snakes who will only eat multis, and not touch mice - so they're strike feeding fine, growing, shedding, and absolutely perfect in every way ... except I can't even begin to think about selling them! |

We've got a het albino female that only ate Gerbils. We tried her on a turkey chick at the weekend and was amazed that she ate it. Next time we feed her we will offer a turkey chick again but we will put a small rat into the body cavity so at least she is getting a decent meal, hopefully we can eventually convert her over to rats. _________________ Steve |

Yeah that's the main problem selling her, should i wish to. It's only one snake i've been feeding multi's and gerbils to, and woudn't even attempt to try on snakes i'm selling (i put them all on rats from birth, and warn the buyer - keep em on rats ). |
