Heres a wee update on my favourite green girl, Sweetpea. Shes supposed to be arboreal, but any arboreal cage she had went in messed her up... she became nervous, flighty, stopped feeding and just generally didn't enjoy her environment.

So she's been moved to the new rack and she LOVES it. Shes the most non arboreal green snake in the world LOL. And for a yearling, shes pretty damn huge... Even on a very restricted diet she won't stop growing!

Lovely facial scales Smile

Second ever tongue shot in over a year!

Lounging around in the new rack (3x2 boxes)

Weird experiment

Crap shot, but this is just to show her sort of size.

Cool Beautifull snake and great shots of it...very strange about it not settling in an arboreal set up???? Was it an all glass tank...

Aren't the buckets in the herpteks quite low?...maybe she stayed low down to get to the heat..have seen the 2ft cube herpteks and must admit always thought the bucket for the heat source was very low..almost defeated the object of a 2ft high viv imo..although they do now do a taller one.

I honestly couldn't tell you... shes just not a climby snakie. Shes a "shoot across the floor" snakie - and a damn good one at that. This girl is lighting fast!

I think floor space is far more important for her than height, so shes in the new rack. Totally handmade (down to every little detail like the viewing windows etc) by my partner. I want to fill it with more boas though LOL
