Telford and Wrekin council is £45!!!!! BUT, the vet they use is a liability and charges over £200 for less than an hour visit, and THEN can't make any recommendations!!! |

Carmarthenshire (Wales) charge £102 (vet fees extra) according to their website (had to trawl through it as searching for DWA or DWAAL found nothing). Their conditions document was quite comprehensive, including that the area in while the DWA animals were kept must have a concrete base of no less than 10" deep... which tends to rule out anyone wanting to keep DWA animals upstairs in a house or in a flat.
In addition, they will only let you keep the species and numbers specified when you apply.
I don't have a DWA license and have only just got into reptiles and inverts, so am not even considering applying for one, I just thought I would supply some information. |

I remember looking into this for some of my Exotics management work and I remember Newport being super expensive!! I'm between 2 councils but Bury (Greater Manchester) I think its about £100. Its crazy how much the fees vary |
