Just wondered how active crested geckos are. My 2 hide asleep in the leaves all day and at night only move very little. Usually just climb the leaves and have a wander about the floor. Also how long can CGD be left in the Viv for?? Many thanks. Paul

Hey again Laughing yeah they do sleep through the day and then when dark mine show their faces. Some nights they seem to do laps of the tank but others they sit and stare at nothing for hours on end. I guess you just get used to how each one can differ. CGD I normally leave in for a couple of nights. If I mix in a little banana then maybe only a night because it tends to smell a bit funky Cool

How long have you had them, what are they housed in, ages? All the usual questions Very Happy

Hi. I've only had them since Saturday. They are roughly 8 wks old or so. At the moment they are in a small plastic tank around a 1ft long 1ft high and 1/2 ft deep. I'm keeping them in there till they are a little bigger then i will move then into a bigger Viv. I know most people keep theirs in exo Terra Viv's but i made my own Viv so they will be in a 3ft long, 1 1/2inch deep and 2ft high.
