She shed, pooped, weighed in at 360grms then tonight fed, She's getting lazy you have to put the food near her mouth so she just has to open it and start swallowing.
Anyhow when i put her hide over her it did not seem right anymore.
What do you think?

lol that reminds me of a female that i have that used to need an hide i once mentioned to someone if i dropped a stamp in her box id come back to find her with her head underneath it she was the most nervous fickle mouse eater in the world now she doesnt have an hide and absolutly pounds rats,she's like a differant snake.the albino is looking stunning by the way mike well done on producing that _________________ www.jamieswordsreptiles.com |

mine use their hides till they are sitting on top of them, like a snail shell!!! then i think about changing them. _________________

Funny pic.
I have a few of the Exo Terra hides, they are ok for smaller snakes, but I find they lack height for larger snakes, unless you spend a small fortune on the largest size.
I tend use either cork bark and/or PVC Guttering (depending on whether I want naturalistic or functional decor. The good thing about both, is that you can buy a long length and then cut it to size.
I usually place it in the viv so that it covers from one the hot end to the cool end, rather than two seperate hides.
