Ooh Pete and I were just contemplating a holiday in Kenya for next year. he has been before and suggested Ambeseli and Masai mara. So it was good to see your photographs, for some reason I had focused more on expecting mammal sightings rather than reptiles.
I am deterred by the heat - how hot was it? Im just dont enjoy extreme hot weather, but I do want to visit Kenya. _________________ Cheers Angi

we did see an awful lot of mammals as well, as well as loads of birds, was the best holiday ever.
we went in summer holidays (August) and it was surprisingly cool. nairobi and masai mara, and if i remember correctly were quite cool, (well like a slightly hot day in britain) but as you get nearer the coast it gets alot hotter because you get nearer the coast. so mombasa was exceedingly hot, however we were quite close to the sea so there wasa nice breeze.
i really hate hot weather, but i found the first week when we were inland, absolutely fine, and it is worth it just because its KENYA!!
i could upload some oher pics but my dad took about 800, but if there uis anything you particularly want to see, i may be able to find a pic. _________________ Tom

hey sam we went for 15 days, the first 8 days we were on safari, then the remainder we stayed at a hotel in diani on the coast.
during the safari we went to 4 national parks they were: amboseli, masai mara, lake nakuru, and tsavo east. we also went to lake navaisha. _________________ Tom
