evening all.. just caught one of my geckos trying to give itself a fun time by the look of it.. it was licking what appear to be its privates, first time I have seen this and cannot find anything on google relating to it.
any ideas as to why? |

Was it a male or female?
Is the gecko housed alone or with mates?
Males usually lick their hempienes after copulation, so this could be a reason for the behaviour. It's also possible that the gecko was jus tcleaning itself?

Technically, they are his hemipenes, his knackers around around where his kidneys are apparently  
But yes, my crestie does this now and again - I would be worried if he never cleaned them!
