Hi all,
i just realised that i had not posted up any pics of any of my tropical fish. I used to have seven tanks. but now i only have 2, to make room for more reptiles , because originally i wasn't allowed any reptiles, so i started getting fish instead, and i have some really unusual species. i love 'oddballs'.
here we go, these are some of the fish in my large tank (i apologise for the images, i am not a very good photographer and the tank needs a clean):
- This is a polypterus endlicheri, i own one of these, and was my most expensive fish, i also own 2 p. sengalus and a massive p. ornatipinnis
- This is a Polypterus senegalus:
- here is my asian featherfin knifefish (Notopterus sp.)
i did not get any pics, of the p. ornatipinnis as he is shy and the smae with my massive plec and my reedfish, oh and i have a thing about polypterus
here are some pics of the fish in my other tank
guppies:
albino bristlenose:
in this tank i used to own a massive black ghost knifefish, who was the biggest i personally have ever seen at about a foot in length, but unfortunately he recently died, due to incorrect care by the holiday pet carer. he was one of my faves . this tank now only has guppies, bristlenoses, a porthole catfish and a saddled spiny eel. _________________ Tom

You have some stunning fish.
Is that last bristle nose an albino?
I like oddballs aswell!
Have you bred any of them? _________________ Regards, Paul.

i breed guppies, well they do it themselves really, all the ones i currently own were bred by me.
oh and the big catfish in the first pics, is a featherfinned catfish (Synodontis eupterus) _________________ Tom

thanks neep-neep. i like senegals, very active species. my favourites areornates, mine is huge, but i cannot get a good pic of him as he is shy. buti love my little endlicher, they are very rare and unusual, i raised him up from being 1.5 inch to the massive size he is now.
i love delhezi too, i nearly got one, but i got my ornate instead ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________ Tom
