I have only told one person where I got the spider from post crypto, and I know he will keep it to himself. Others have put previous threads and put 2 and 2 together, and I have been told posted on other forums about what has happened, including the persons name etc. I know it is done in good intentions, to warn people so they dont end up in the same position as me.

PLEASE DONT, the guy is panicking enough as it is. He has had all his morphs tested and they have come back negative so far. He is going to get them tested again. I am trying to get enough of a sample to get it dna tested as there is several strains, some harmless. These can be ingested via feeder rodents, water etc.
The harmles cryto c parvum and other forms can cause sloppy poo, but pass through the system eventually, .

The guy I got it off, I have had stuff in the past with no problems, also the snake that died I mentioned at the beginning of this post was well over 12 months ago and totally not related and can happent to anyone.
The snake is currently eating well and putting weight on but still sloppy and hopefully will be able to get another sample sent off next week.

i just hope this guy who you got the snake from doesnt go into panic mode and trying seeling all his snakes off at reduced prices then or that wouldnt be cool would it,i do hope the strain of crypto your snake is suffering from turns out to be a less lethal type

I am in no mans land.
If I keep stun them others could end up in a mess, but if everyone knows and things work out then I am still in trouble. Embarassed

All I wanted was a nice spider to make nice spider/albinos
Its a difficult position, dont know what to do.
At the very least, I think the guy should take the snake back and give me market value, then the problem is where it belongs.
I can then use the money to have my other snakes tested for the next nine months. And buy setups so can keep them all individually in different places.

yep totally agree the guy should take the spider back and give you your money back,but it is a tricky situation and im sorry for everyone caught up in it Crying or Very sad
