my first male mojo was bought as a female. i always thought it wasnt right as the spurs were large. i was proved right. she turned out to be a he! its as reliable as probing.

It can certainly be a good indicator like tails etc but no guarentee...

as good a gaurantee as probing. my mojo probed female but is a male. i 'guessed' bu tail shape and scale count, the corns and was 100% right. theu are easier to sex than royals though.

best way i find is to probe , popping when young is easy too , but somestimes the spurs on older males can be "worn" down a bit . (too much hanky panky lol).

am not saying probing isnt best, am just saying there are other ways just as reliable.
