Hi, Bit of a novice question but what is the difference in yellow, red and maroon GTP babies please? I know that the maroon can produce more diverse colours in adulthood but I was wondered what the indication, if any was for adult colour.

I think they are all different localitites from what I have read... Mind you i don't know my Biaks from my Sarongs I think I did read that the Maroon or red babies are the most agressive type though, which is a shame as they are a favourite. Shame they go green really. I really like the Blue- green adults, maybe someone can give us a run down on the localities with differnent colours and temperaments? |

all localities can produce either color sibling in the same clutch.
as for adult colouration just depend's on thier locatilty, reason unknown? |

Thanks for the replies folks. That pic is one cool snap. I know it is dependent on locality and parents but I often see one clutch for sale, yellows one price and maroon a higher price from the same clutch. I always figured that say with the melanistic that the yellows would always produce a green adult where as a dark maroon had the possibility of producing something else as well as green, any one know please?
