can anyone point me to a source of those little round plastic vents you usually see in the backs of those flat pack vivs, i think they come in white, brown and black.

also any reason why these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160162382267&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=006 couldnt be used for snakes? anyone used them, do they get hot?

Look on ebay for the vents, loads of them ...
As for the lights im not a snake keeper, and i havent used them so i couldnae say fella ...

I found those vents in Homebase once... and those bulbs look like they get hot, havn't used them but if you do maybe it might be best to cage them.... Also I don't think you can get coloured bulbs for strip lights so you couldn't leave it on at night....I've always used coloured bulbs because their easy to fit and replace.

B&Q do them they are sofit vents. I use them all the time.
