|
|
A friend of mine has been approached by the BBC to find children/teens for a spin off of the current BBC series ‘Dragon’s Den’.
Only details I have so far are:
1) Recording taking place on 6th October at some location in London
2) Children wanted from 8 years to 13 ish
3) Challenge given to two groups – one consisting of adult, one of kids
4) Subject of challenge – a reptile related project (e.g. design of a vivarium)
5) Kids tell adults what they want, adults tell kids (you get the idea……)
6) Public choose best design - design is put forward to a manufacturer in the hope they’ll produce the winning one…
7) We are not looking for a child/teen that ‘handles reptiles every now and then’ but has a good knowledge of reptile keeping in order to make a valuable contribution to the design/show!
As usual with the BBC – short notice and - replies are required yesterday!
We need 10 children/teens altogether – first come first serve – serious contestants only please - pm or call me on 0795/7732276.

Stu - trust you to ask awkward questions! All I know at the mo is what I've said in my previous post. Assume they want to confirm numbers first before they commit themselves - you could always pretend you're a minor with your red nose on!! _________________ Connie |

You reckon I would pass as a youngster???..lol..well sure my lad would be interested..as long as it was a tean effort as I thinkl he would get to nervous if it was an individual thing...but he has a great knowledge of reptiles. _________________

Crumbs... kids!!!... They're all the same... my daughter is happy to go as long as they don't have to 'jump thru hoops and throw food at each other'... !!???? (too much tv me thinks) Will be very much a team effort from what I can gather - keep you updated about more details when I get them.... Can I put your lads name down as a potential contestant then? _________________ Connie |
